A Personal Note From Me — The Heart Behind Fable & Fjord

Fable & Fjord began with my own journey into motherhood, a journey full of love, learning, and plenty of moments where I felt like I was just trying to find my feet.

I remember the early days so clearly: the quiet hush of night feeds, the pram overflowing after every outing, those tiny fingers curling around mine. I felt so much love… and yet, at times, so much uncertainty. Like many new mums, I was surrounded by endless advice, endless opinions, and endless stuff. And even though everyone meant well, it often left me feeling more overwhelmed than supported.

Deep down, I didn’t want more things.
I wanted meaningful things — pieces that nurtured my baby’s development, encouraged imagination, and helped create the kind of moments I knew I’d want to hold onto forever.

And honestly, I also wanted to feel held, seen, and supported myself. Because motherhood doesn’t just reshape your days — it reshapes you.

What grew from those feelings was a simple wish: to create a space where parents could find things that genuinely helped, without adding to the overwhelm. Things that felt supportive, thoughtful, and made with real families in mind.
A space where little ones could feel inspired — and parents could feel held too.
That’s why part of what we offer includes small touches made just for you… gentle reminders woven into the magic we create for your child.

Whether you’re navigating the newness of your first baby or juggling the beautiful chaos of a growing family, I hope Fable & Fjord feels like a place where you feel understood — where you can find things that bring ease, joy, and a sense of “I’ve got this.”

Fable & Fjord isn’t just a brand to me.
It is a companion for your parenthood journey, here to support you, reassure you, and bring a little more wonder into your little one’s world.
